Today I had a little more spare time so I took the time to check out the new Minecrift (yes that's how it's spelt) mod for Minecraft. It's not exactly the most straight-forward thing to install since you have to modify your minecraft.jar file and install some VC++ 2012 runtime packages but once I got it running it worked surprisingly well in-game.

A while ago I started creating a web based tool for editing Minecraft texture sets but due to many cross browser oddities I decided to stop developing the tool but have recently come back to it and using some of my newly attained JQuery knowledge I'm in a better position to make the tool truly cross-browser compatible and make it work just as I had hoped.

Recently I've been playing this game called Minecraft (minecraft.net) in which you search for natural resources and then use them to build structures, survive zombie attacks and generally 'live' in a virtual world while mining and crafting.
